Xradia manufactures high-resolution X-ray optics which are core components in Xradia's line of high-resolution X-ray microscopes for laboratory and synchrotron X-ray sources. Xradia's optics enable researchers at synchrotrons and universities to perform advanced experiments that require focusing of X-ray radiation. The uses range from ultra-high resolution X-ray transmission and reflective imaging to nano-probe scanning microscopy detecting secondary fluorescent X-rays or diffraction from crystallographic phases.
Zone plates are diffractive optical elements with the highest demonstrated resolution for focusing electromagnetic radiation. Xradia offers zone plates for X-ray energies ranging from the EUV to hard X-ray with imaging resolution as good as 30 nanometers.
Using the same fabrication technology as zone plate lenses, Xradia manufactures resolution and calibration test patterns to precisely characterize the resolution and imaging fidelity of X-ray imaging systems and to precisely calibrate the magnification of imaging systems.
